The sponsored Luis Suárez edition has raised 54,710 euros in favor of Catalan Association of Metabolic Disorders for the study of the PKU

On Friday, February 17th, the closure of the edition of ‘Relats Solidaris’ was held at the Banc Sabadell Auditorium. Alfredo Lustigmann, president of the PKU Association picked up the 54,710 euro check to continue the investigation of this rare disease.

Luis Suárez, the godfather of this 12th edition, explained that for him “it is a privilege that the PKU has been known. Today people who did not know about disease cares about the the suffering of many people.” In addition, he urged “not to forget”, and he assured that “ it is necessary to continue working to try to cure rare diseases “.

The Uruguayan striker, questioned by his human side, was close to this type of causes and Candela, the girl to whom he dedicated a goal last season. “You always try to be at your command on what you can. And more having children in between. These are moments when you see them enjoy, when they are so happy, what comes to us,” explained an excited Suarez.

In addition, boots and a T-shirt signed by “the charrúa” were given to Álex Dalí, of the Damm Foundation, winners of the solidarity auction for this solidarity pack. The other great moment of the act was in the delivery of the painting of “the tridente” of Joan Vizcarra to Mario Garcia, president of Speed Pack Europe, who made the highest bid for the work signed by Messi, Neymar and Suárez himself.

In 2017 , Relats Solidaris reaches its 13th edition and will have a exceptional sponsor: Marc Márquez , three-time MotoGP World Champion. The benefits of the book will go to the Associació Esclats, a partnership for people with cerebral palsy.

Of course, from Addmira we supported the project and we were present at the event to show our commitment to this solidarity initiative.
